Missing Jake on the 24th of July!

For the last couple years we have gone to Park City on the 24th of July.  We have lunch, ride the Alpine slide, and get a treat at the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory.  This year as we were getting ready to go, Jake was heading out the door to work.  He got a job at Les Schwab Tire's, he cleans up their shop and drives around the valley running errands.  He really likes working, but his mom really missed having him with us.  Although, he was able to go with us to see the fireworks at Great Grandma Stott's.

This has been a tradition ever since I was a little girl.  A lot of things have changed.  The crowd for example is a little different.  Jonathan thinks that only 5% of the people at the park know what we are celebrating.  The things I like the best are still the same.  Good food, family, and kissing Jonathan during the fireworks.

My Grandma loves having everyone over to see the fireworks.  Everyone and anyone is welcome.

That is so sweet of your Grandma Stott to invite everyone over. I must say the weirdos come out on the 24th.

Kids growing up is no fun :( They have jobs, they go to college or mission. Enjoy them while you can! Big hugs!
